eMark is a software based online payment system created and held electronically. No one controls it. emarks aren’t printed, like dollars or euros – they’re produced by lots of people running computers all around the world, using software that solves mathematical problems. Anyone can join! The safe mathematical algorithm secures the network perfectly using free open source software.

Transactions are submitted immediately. Users send eMark by broadcasting digitally signed messages to the network using the eMark wallet. The ability to transact eMarks without the assistance of a central registry is facilitated in part by the availability of a virtually unlimited supply of unique addresses which can be generated and disposed of at will.

This currency isn’t physically printed by a central bank that can simply produce more money to cover the national debt, thus devaluing their currency. Instead, eMark is created digitally by a community of people that anyone can join. eMark is ‘mined' using computing power in a distributed network. This network also processes transactions made with the virtual currency, effectively making eMark its own payment network. The integrated Proof of Stake-System lets you generate 3.8% annual stake.
